Vita

Aleix Comas-Vives graduated from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2004 and obtained the PhD in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry in 2009. After a postdoctoral position in the group of Prof. Timo Jacob in 2012 he joined the group of Prof. Christophe Copéret at ETH Zürich. Since 2014, he is Ambizione Research Fellow from the Swiss National Foundation and develops ab initio approaches to provide further understanding at atomistic level of the structure and reactivity of complex systems such as single-site catalysts, oxide materials and metallic nanoparticles.
